He was born in Aichi, Japan in 1971.

He father was a graphic designer and illustrator.

He was exposed to a variety of paintings and prints, and from there he began to define the type of art he was drawn to. Until he was 12 years old, art was he plaything, and he was obsessed with crafts and drawing.

He was beginning to think that he would be an artist in the future.

However, he was forced to live far from art in he school life from junior high school on, in accordance with the school's educational policy. In the midst of this, he became apathetic about art and eventually quit even doodling in his notebooks.

 

As an adult, he took up motorcycle modification as a hobby.

He was able to revive he forgotten sense of fun and enthusiasm.

Eventually, he opened a store specializing in the manufacture and sale of motorcycle parts.

He showed his unique sense of style by combining motorcycle parts as if he were drawing a picture.

Later, he started a family and had four children.

From his successful experience in the motorcycle modification business,

He sought his own unique way of expression in contemporary art.

He was inspired by the works of Sengai Ghibon, a Zen monk painter from the Edo period.

He fell in love with the ancient Asian art of sumi-e (ink painting).

In 2023, he opened Panda Rocket Gallery.

 

Currently, he is researching how to integrate various traditions handed down in Japan with his artwork.
